We're elated to announce InsurGPT the first GenAI Powered Conversational Insurance Assistant.



InsurGPT is our attempt to provide a FREE, web-based public tool, to help consumers at large clear their queries around Personal Insurance products. It currently has 100+ Health Insurance Products, that you can ask your questions about. It allows for far more in-depth searches than what's possible right now. We want to bridge the information gap consumers have with Insurance. Users today crave financial literacy & control, which, we believe, is incomplete without bridging information asymmetry with Insurance.


InsurGPT is our attempt to provide a FREE, web-based public tool, to help consumers at large clear their queries around Personal Insurance products.

At InsurStaq, our core principles are to make Insurance — Simple, Honest, and Personalized. InsurStaq App will be a hyper-personalized, Insurance Super App. Users will be able to manage all their family's Insurance Policies, get data-backed advice, know their existing policies, and buy recommended policies — all inside one app. Inside InsurStaq App, InsurGPT will be your in-app personal Advisor that will get you simplified Policy Fine-print of all your Insurance Policies, as well as personalized answers to insurance-related queries.


InsurStaq App will be a hyper-personalized, Insurance Super App, an AI-powered Insurance Super App (imagine an INDMoney/Revolut for Insurance).




What to expect with future updates of InsurGPT?


Apart from some obvious technical updates like voice-to-text for search-box, improved accuracy, addition of more categories of Personal Insurance, and more products in Health, we're also building some industry-first features, based on the early feedback on our beta-product.


  • Ask General Insurance-related Queries: Presently we limit the context to the Health Insurance Product, the user has selected. However, it turns out the information gap with Insurance is indeed huge. Users have confusion around general Insurance terms/clauses/jargon too. A feature to ask general Insurance-related questions. Plus a 'Wikipedia-styled underlining' of typical jargon

  • UI/UX Updates: Turns out not everybody is a fan of Dark Themes (me included!). We'd be releasing a relatively easier UI/UX on Mobile, since the maximum number of folks (65%+) are using Mobile devices. Plus a 'light mode' option.

  • Comparison of Products in Conversational Manner: Since, the benchmark experience of online Insurance has been a quick comparison. Users have tried comparing Insurance Products on InsurGPT, something we did not intend to be a possibility in the present release. Responding to the feedback, we're building a first-of-its-kind 'comparison of Insurance Products in a conversational manner'.

This is our first public release, and we know will get things wrong. And therefore, we request your patience. Large Language Models (LLMs) are at a beautiful juncture of their development, and ideally things should only get better from hereon. We're at forefront of the implementation of Generative AI in Insurance space in India, and we'd love to hear your feedback to build better.
